Military and Maritime Autographs

This category contains the autographs of persons most associated with  a military career on land or sea.  These may be soldiers and sailors who were distinguished in either war or peacetime.  Aviators who are best known for their role in wartime operations will also be found here but pioneer aviators and those most associated with civil AVIATION may be located in our separate Aviation Category. Military autographs form a huge field for collectors and both the 19th and 20th centuries abound with the names of those who fought in the myriad of conflicts that mark the history of these war-torn centuries.  The autographs of celebrated military and maritime heroes have always been popular and were a favourite subject for Victorian collectors of autographs.  In the 20th century, too, such autographs were much in demand.  Scroll down for a selection from Owen & Barlow's stock of military and Maritime autographs.  As with all our autographs, these are guaranteed to be original and genuine.
