A large certificate on heavy paper. 51.5 cms x 35 cms (20.5 x 14 inches). Circular engraved cartouche designed by George Thomas Doo and engraved by William Dyce and engravings of the exhibitors medal, designed by William Wyon, which was presented with the certificate.

These certificates were given to all exhibitors, each accompanied by a medal. A number of the bronze medals have survived but the engraved certificates are surprisingly scarce.
