Henry John Temple, 3rd Viscount Palmerston.  British tory and subsequently Whig statesman who was twice Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (1855-58 and 1859-1965).

The front panel of an autograph letter cover addressed in Palmerston's hand "A Crosbie, Esq. 2 Albion Street, Hyde Park". signed "Palmerston".
