Signed Photograph. An original silver bromide photograph by the Bassano photographic studios. Signed in ink on the mount by Neville Chamberlain with a fine autograph
signature and also signed in pencil by the photographer. Framed and glazed.

A nice image of a dapper looking Neville Chamberlain who fixes a benign gaze on the camera. The photograph was taken at the studios of Bassano Ltd on 3rd March 1936, a year before he replaced Stanley Baldwin as prime minister. Neville Chamberlain resigned the premiership in May 1940 and was replaced by Winston Churchill. He died 6 months after leaving office, making his one of the scarcer 20th century prime minister autographs. A very pleasing example.
